Hi, I’m Alli!
I’m a 19 year old Health Coach, Yoga Teacher, and (hopefully) Future Dietician. I was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado and love all things health, fitness, and wellness. I have recently returned to Colorado to continue my study of Nutrition at Colorado State University, after a brief stint at the University of Minnesota, where I learned that Midwestern winters are just a little too harsh for my liking 🙂
In the past year I’ve learned a lot about myself— who I am, who I want to be, and what all of this means. In 2018 I completed three yoga teacher trainings, an incredible yoga retreat, and enrolled in a Health Coaching program focused on holistic health. I’ve had lots of time for self reflection and have vowed to create a life that brings me joy and brings joy to everyone around me.
My favorite things to do are spend time in nature, hike, travel, practice and teach yoga, explore different realms of fitness, cook and recipe develop, and create meaningful connection with the people in my life.
As a college student I’ve learned so much about how to navigate the realms of health, fitness, and wellness while in school. As students we have unique time, financial, and accessibility restraints. We constantly struggle with finding the balance between succeeding in school, preparing for our future career, maintaining a social life, and taking care of ourselves. We change and evolve so quickly and grapple with these constant changes in our lives. We’re learning how to live on our own and how we connect with the world. When we take the time to take care of ourselves and find what we’re truly passionate about, we can create the life we’ve always dreamed of.
This blog is meant to be a space for me to share my journey and connect with others as we move along this beautiful journey called life.
